You have the option to book in advance of arrival, which is advisable over the busy summer period, or we can advise and book on your arrival at our hostel.

Coastal Kayakers - ½ day guided tour. Waitangi estuary, mangrove forest and Haruru Falls. A safe, educational and exciting eco-tour. No experience necessary, complimentary tea and coffee. Kayaks - use our safe kayaks, no experience required, to explore the beautiful foreshore and inner islands. Only 100m from the hostel.

Mountain Bikes - Quality 21 speed bikes for our guests to use to explore the area, easy cycling to magnificent views.

Tennis - Three excellent all weather courts, with lights, for guests to use. Raquets and balls supplied.

DVD/video library - For the odd occasion when it does rain, we have an extensive collection of movies for you to enjoy.

Walks - A choice of walks ranging from 30min foreshore walks, bush and mangrove walks to 4 hour bush and beach walks.

Shops/galleries - Plenty of good quality shops and galleries in Paihia and Russell to explore. You are bound to find something for every one!

Kerikeri - Only 20 mins drive from Paihia, visit The historical Stone Store, Kemp House and Rewa's Village, Rainbow Falls bush walk (all at the Kerikeri Basin) also many more galleries and shops and even a chocolate factory.
